Journeyman Training Home

Training is what the Ironworker and unions do best.  If you want a finished product, then we must continue to train our Journeymen.  In today's world, there are new techniques, materials, and strategies that are always changing to improve our industry.  What you learned yesterday could be already obsolete.  Looking forward, we have to anticipate what lies ahead in the future and stay ahead of the curve.

The standards for safety training have grown over the last decade and there is no substitute for a safe work place along with an experienced and highly trained Journeyman.

The Local 580 Educational Fund's goal is to insure that the Ornamental Ironworker is the most capable worker in today's construction industry.
