The International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers Local 580 is located at 501 W. 42nd St., New York, NY 10036. Our jurisdiction includes the boroughs of New York City, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, as well as Westchester, Suffolk and Nassau Counties. Our jurisdiction includes all segments of ornamental ironwork. To name a few examples we do curtain wall, marquees, canopies, stage equipment, bridge and overpass railings, and all types of miscellaneous iron.

The objective of Local 580 is to Promote, by all proper means, the material and intellectual welfare of its members and their families. Secure, by all legal and proper means, adequate wages, working conditions, and opportunities of employment. Encourage its members to register and vote in the interest of obtaining higher standards of citizenship and secure adequate legislation that will safeguard and promote the principles of free collective bargaining.

We, here at Local 580, have one of the finest Apprentice Programs as well as Journeyman upgrading programs in all of New York City. We are one of the oldest and proudest Labor Unions in New York with a history rich in tradition and experience.
